Full-Time Worship Pastor

First Baptist Church of Murray, KY is seeking a full-time worship pastor to join an experienced staff excited about building upon a foundation of faithfulness in a new day and in new ways.  Founded in 1846 and situated in an active downtown court-square, Murray’s First Baptist Church is driven by dependence on the truth of God’s Word through biblical community and intentional discipleship.   FBC is comprised of all generations and cultures for the goal of worshipping, growing, and serving together. The church’s average weekly attendance is around 350, with total annual giving around $1.4M (including around twenty-percent allocated toward missions.)

 

FBC Murray’s ideal candidate will lead a faithful worship team currently consisting of choir, praise team, and other musicians.  He should possess a broad range of musical skills and interests and enjoy collaborating with the Senior Pastor and worship team to plan worship services consisting of both traditional and contemporary elements.  He will need a high-level of familiarity with applicable AV platforms, technologies, and resources, as well as the communication skills necessary to help volunteers understand and serve in this vital ministry.
