We believe that every story in the Bible is true, points to Jesus, and tells us something about God and our need for a Savior. Every week, from birth through 5th grade, your students will hear that Jesus loves them and that God has a plan for their life through the stories taught using The Gospel Project curriculum. All of our kids use the same curriculum plan in order to make it easier for families to have conversations about what they learned. Weekly, we send home a handout that includes where the story is found (key passage), the key verse, main points, and a couple of simple discussion questions to talk over with your kids.
We believe that you, as the parents, are the primary spiritual influence in your child's life, and that it is our job, as the church, to come alongside you and support your efforts to teach your kids about Jesus. You can rest assured that while they are here, they will hear about Jesus, and they will come home with resources to help you teach them as well.
We divide our classes by age/grade and have promotion Sunday in August with the start of school. Electronic check-in for ALL kids is located on the first floor.
The first floor in the education building is dedicated to our youngest kids (birth through 5 years old/kindergarten). The second floor in the education building is dedicated to our elementary students (1st grade through 5th grade). Each of the classrooms are labeled, and if you need assistance finding the right room, please don't hesitate to ask one of the teachers or volunteers.
If you have any other questions about Sunday mornings, let us know! You can email Rachel Riquelme, Director of Preschool & Children's Ministry.
