Midweek @ Kids First

We believe that learning what it means to be a Jesus-follower should be fun because Jesus loves us BIG!

Wednesday nights, kids of all ages will engage in exciting, fun activities that will help them learn what it means to pursue a life in Christ and live it in front of the world as we go.

After our Awards Ceremony on May 3rd, we will take a break from TeamKID for the summer.  We will start back up with a Kick-off Celebration on August 9th & our first night of classes on August 16th!

Highway 45

4th & 5th Grade only!

We have launched a new ministry specific to 4th & 5th graders that recognizes their unique learning needs and energy level and abilities, and we are LOVING it!  Our focus this semester has been "Under Construction," and we've been learning, through the Book of Acts, what it means to be a part of the Body of Christ and what it looks like to build that body up.

Every month, we have a week dedicated to applying what we've learned through a missions project either within our church body or in the local community.  Some from this semester have included making and delivering cards for the Fire  Station, making decorations for the tables at Soup for the Soul, preparing materials for our first-ever Family Serve-a-Thon Day, and leading activities for younger classes to practice setting a good, Christ-like example.  We have some fun things planned for the Fall Semester and are looking forward to watching this ministry continue to grow as these 4th & 5th graders learn more about being a contributing member of the Body at FBC!
